The VNGA Resolutions Committee has
received draft resolutions from the National Guard Association of
the United States (NGAUS) for consideration. These resolutions are
categorized as either “Joint”, “Army” or “Air Force” and contain
both the background of the issue and a recommendation.
The VNGA and NGAUS resolutions process
is the engine that drives our legislative activities aimed at
acquiring the force structure, modernization, quality of life and
ultimately the readiness of our forces. It is a process that
requires the focused involvement of key leaders throughout the
National Guard because it establishes the priorities that will
enable our units, members and families to succeed.
We urge you to carefully review and
make recommendations for appropriate adjustments to these
resolutions. In addition, we encourage any member to submit a
resolution on an issue that is of interest at either the national or
state level.
