Attached please find a copy of the requested By-Law Changes for the 2012 Conference. In accordance with Article X of the current By-Laws, all requested By-Law changes must be submitted to the President in writing 90 days prior to the conference.

The National Guard Bureau Office of Legislative Liaison (NGB-LL) has published an analysis of the FY 11 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) summarizing all National Guard related provisions. Read it here or go to the NGB-LL website for more details.

Some of our recent initiatives include the following:

  • Membership - increased membership allows our voice to be heard more clearly. We now accept dues online through credit card or check payments thanks to our partnership with Sage Payments. Join now before the 51th Annual Conference.
  • Going Green - we can save the planet while we save on postage as we transition to online delivery of our quarterly newsletter. You can sign up here to request online delivery instead of having a paper copy mailed to your residence.
  • Improved communication with legislative updates and more through our mailing list and twitter. Sign up for our mailing list or follow us on twitter to stay up to date on issues relating to the Virginia National Guard.
