Membership and Dues

The membership year begins on 1 January and ends on 31 December of each year.

Classes of Membership are:

Active - Any Officer or Warrant Officer of the Virginia National Guard upon payment of annual dues

Active Life - Any member of the Association who pays the dues prescribed for life membership.

Associate/Retired - Any retired or former member of the Virginia National Guard whose separation was under honorable conditions.  Associate members may hold office.

Retired Life - Any retired member of the Association who pays the dues prescribed for life membership.

Affiliate - Any Commissioned or Warrant Officer of the Active Services who is serving in an advisory or liaison capacity with the Virginia National Guard.  Affiliate members are not entitled to vote or hold office.

Honorary - A membership approved by the majority vote of the Executive Council.  Honorary members are not entitled to vote and are not subject to dues.

Auxiliary - Any Enlisted member of the Virginia National Guard who participates in the Virginia National Guard Association Insurance Program.  Auxiliary members are not entitled to vote and are not subject to dues.

Corporate - A membership approved by the majority vote of the executive council.  Corporate members are not entitled to vote.

2008 VNGA Corporate Members include:

  • Gold Membership ($1,000) DESERT SPRINGS POOLS
  • Silver Membership ($500) VECTRONIX INC.
  • Bronze Membership ($250) AFBA 5 STAR ASSOC.
